Dr. Anand Sancheti

Dr. Anand Sancheti is a pioneering Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgeon whose vision and dedication have transformed cardiac care in Central India and beyond. As the founder of NewEra Hospitals, he brings over two decades of clinical excellence, academic leadership, and humanitarian service to the forefront of modern healthcare.

Dr. Sancheti completed his M.S. in General Surgery followed by M.Ch. in Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery. Ranked second in the All-India Superspeciality Medical Entrance Exam in 1999, he has since risen to become one of India’s most respected heart surgeons. He is also a Fellow of the Indian Association of Cardiothoracic Surgeons (FIACS).

He has performed over 5,000 successful cardiac surgeries, with more than 1,000 of them done completely free of cost under government schemes in rural regions. Dr. Sancheti was the first surgeon to establish a cardiac surgery programme in rural Maharashtra, at Acharya Vinoba Bhave Rural Hospital, Wardha, which became an MCI-recognised teaching unit by 2012.
